Give me strength! The lad Sway looked handy when he came on last week, full of energy and willing to run at players and take them on. So what does he do, leaves him on the bench, you couldn't make it up. This is why I won't be sorry to see Feathers go.

Why would you not want to finish 8th?, If by a miracle one of the top 7 has ...

a) A points deduction
b) Ground won't be up to EFL standard for the start of next season
c) Club goes into administration
d) The Mafia had money on Pools to go up.

First of all the negative stuff for 35 mins it was much of the same . Nice passing , particularly down the left and when John or Sinclair trued to cross there was nobody in the box apart from Reid who looked a bit flat footed. Meanwhile Miley had 3 opportunities from corners or free kicks which went all went astray . Suddenly a bit of quality Reid finds himself in the box but Campbell was not up with the pace . However, Reid waited for him like a late train and he scored with a quality finish . In the final minutes Miley remembered how to take corners and free kicks and we score a goal from a corner . It’s funny how the co commentator spotted that FGR get men in the box but we don’t . Been saying that for months . The strikers behind Reid should be keeping up to play with our wingers . Campbell just not have the guile to understand his role . However, his goal albeit a late run was top draw . Don’t think FGR are out of this abd Savage will read the riot act. And we of course will sit back like pussies because it’s Featherstone way . To me we need a 3rd goal but will Featherstone go for it !!!! What do you think ?

A third would be handy, but I can't see Feathers going gung ho. Will try & keep it tight for 20 minutes at least

Watching from afar and it's the usual boring fare. 2 pieces of quality bringing the goals. Not sure how we can expect to get people in the box when Fevs MO is to frustrated with 10 behind the ball. This playing out from the back is horrendous to watch, plenty of possession but all around our own area, has Benn made a forward pass or run at all?

Good performance from the defence again . Message to Landon Smith please get the defenders signed up for next season . Well organised and confident . The only bright spot for most of the season . Think we had about 5 shots at goal and scored 2. Fortunately FGR were worse than us upfront . There’s a first . Savage will be furious with them . Good win though

Let's see how the defence cope with free scoring Southend next Tuesday evening!

Defence gets credit but don't forget we had Hunter, Sheron, Miley, all behind the ball for most of the game.

Think Hunter was one of the 3 CBs.

He was. Cam John got forward loads of times on the left. Sinclair was playing further inside as a No.10 and had his best game in weeks. Judging by the amount of energy they put into the game they'd both like to be at Pools next season.

It was an awful watch on TV, even the Pools commentator and Jonathan Franks said it was boring with the second half being particularly bad.

it was an awful watch live as well. even wins this season feel like a draw. please no repatition of this season and the tactics we have had pushed on us for 26/7. cannot see anybody selling crab defensive football at the vic to the majority of fans.
