First interviewer gave him a hard time . Feel sorry for the guy but he just hasn’t got an analytical brain. Why is it easy for us to see but not for him? How many times have we said you cannot play not to lose . He is too negative. Please please please against Scunthorpe do the following.

1. Play on the front foot from the beginning.
2. Make sure there are no holes, be organised, communicate
3. Play with energy
4. Be first to every ball, close them down quickly, set the tone, if your colleague loses the ball be first to retrieve it back
5. Be proactive rather than reactive get the ball forward to our best players on the flanks asap
6. Get numbers in the box
7. Shoot on site don’t overplay , make the goaly parry the ball, have numbers in the box for the rebound
8. Boss the penalty area, hustle the defenders .
9. Look up when crossing
10. Get the crowd on our side early. If your a defender make crunching tackles, if your a midfielder support your strikers pals making runs , play quickly rather than ponderous sideways passes . In other words everyone have a positive mindset.
Nothing else will do after that defeat Nicky. Grow some balls man and for gods sake more importantly play a HIGH press. We dictate the play not them . Now go out and show us what you made of. Your players should be lions not pussy cats

All that sounds like the Carlisle victory where we were absolutely outstanding.

Like the Poolie on radio Tees said last night. You just don't have a clue what you are going to get from this team.

For me consistency is created from the Manager.
But being the manager of Pools is a very difficult job as history proves.

I always believed a manager should be feared and respected…all this chummy changing room bollocks leads to confusion…managers are there to manage, it’s not some bloody hippy collective where feelings come first.
Get someone in who can make demands of players and expects commitment….and it helps if they know what they’d actually doing too.
I’m sick to death of signing being made by clerks in a back office, when mangers should be doin* the deciding instead of a glorified catalogue approach.
Successful teams have managers in control, not a fecking committee of no marks and self appointed ‘experts’.

Maybe if he'd signed an experienced centre back when Macnally and Parkes were both side lined, instead of bringing in young kids with no experience, things might have been different. He just hasn't got the nous to be a manager in my opinion.

Agree on chicken feed budget which makes me think has he been hung out a bit. Albeit Feaths has said repeatedly that he thinks the team is good enough to be top 7. Watch his interview with The Red and look at the final 5 seconds, Feaths looks broken. Optimism sapped from him in just a few weeks. What’s happened? Reality set in. Pools are still screwed? Has something come to light….

We couldn’t sell ‘the project’ to Pat Jones. A non league winger. We have a decimated defence and sign Jay Sway. Of the signings, only Sinclair really had some wow factor to it. The signings are coming. Thursday. Then next Thursday. Hmmmm

You didn’t think that Landon would come under any if at all heat at this stage, but it’s happening now.

lets face it who did we learn the most from at school or at work. the boss or foreman and before the teacher you respected and was wary of crossing them.

LS isn’t going to lash the money out when he has an inept management team, we will have to wait till the season finishes to see what his intentions are if any. If he wants to be selling season tickets changes have to made as soon as the season ends not in August.

lets face it who did we learn the most from at school or at work. the boss or foreman and before the teacher you respected and was wary of crossing them.

We were talking about that in the pub when we meet up for breakfast …and basically college was there to pass theory exams…but you learnt the reality on the job.
