It's certainly a different approach. Be interesting to see how it pans out.

Rochdale did something similar when they were relegated.

Excellent news, just what many of us have advocated since Landon first appeared on the scene. Hopefully there will now be no hiding place for underperforming players, coaches, backroom staff and managerial personnel.

Interested to see what happens with this. As above, hopefully this means there’s a clear out of the serial failures who’ve been behind the scene for several years now, I.e Monks, Lawrence et al.

Better save the date for the open top bus parade now, 2026/2027 champions!

Is thiis the same guy? Probably mean we get Derby players instead of Gateshead in future.

19 March 2026
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United defender Leigh Bromby has signed a permanent contract to become Derby County's talent acquisition lead.

The 45-year-old takes the new role after a spell as the club's interim recruitment lead as the Rams look to build their sporting intelligence department.

His duties will include working alongside boss John Eustace to identify suitable talent, overseeing transfer deals and implementing development plans for players such as academy graduate Owen Eames.

Ben Jones has also joined the club as their new talent identification lead, focusing on scouting players for the first team through to the academy.

Jones has previous experience working with Premier League side Chelsea as their lead academy recruitment analyst and joins the side from the Football Association.

LS has obviously brought them in as he can’t be involved running Pools from 1000s of miles away, in the club statement it says,
‘The specialist football advisory firm will support the Club over the coming months, providing strategic oversight and operational support as part of a structured plan in the Club’s football operations’
Reading into that it’s not only player recruitment but managerial and coaching staff appointments, where does that leave Featherstone and staff, will there be a clear out at the end of the season ?

Finally the long needed ‘skip’ has arrived to start the purge and clear out.

Way to early to Worship them.

Judge them after results.
Say about were we are in November.
That's a good guide.

Seems they are/were involved with Plymouth Argyle as well: https://pasoti.co.uk/threads/the-involv ... er.132916/

Hope it wasn't them who appointed Wayne Rooney

Well if we get some lads in who normally would have led a life of crime, we may end up with a few decent players.
