So to beat Truro and Eastleigh is an unbelievable effort, wonder how many of us agree?

Pools have won 4 out of the last 6 - 12 points from a possible 18. Carry on bleating if you like but I got a half-season ticket and I'd rather watch games where something might -just -be possible than dead rubbers.

Be a more realistic chance if we actually signed some feckin' players. Walker and Ferguson were on the bench because Campbell was injured and Hunter was playing centre back because McNally and Parkes are injured. Do you seriously think Southend or even Halifax are in the same parlous state?

You’re not wrong. We escaped with a win today because Eastleigh didn’t threaten at all and we got a lucky nob end type goal. Far from threatening the top teams of this godforesaken league.

Truro have won 4 all season and Eastleigh 6. The unbelievable achievements were beating Rochdale and Carlisle.

What actually IS an 'unbelievable effort' is that 4,000+ fans continue to turn up to support their team despite the truly abysmal recent home performances against Aldershot, Sutton and Halifax. With the exception of the admittedly outstanding performance against Carlisle, the home fans have had precious little to cheer about recently. This Pools squad is lacking in so many areas but is overachieving due to the poor standard of the NL this season. Regardless of Pools final league position it is to be hoped that a full root and branch review of the playing squad and managerial/coaching positions will take place as soon as the season is over.

He's good at convincing himself that's for sure.

Probably come out with.
My win ratio would of gotten us to top 7 if I was a full season manager.
And thats why I deserve to be here next season with the budget or something like that.

And putting Oliver and Walker on the pitch with us resorting to hanging on for dear lives is every reason why he shouldn't be in charge next season.

Been ill for a few days and that last 15 minutes listening to tees put me back a couple of days. you are right nobody wants to go through football like that for 23 home games next season even if they all ended 1 nil to pools.

At the start of the season I watched games live, after some disappointing performances I switched to radio now only follow the scores on the BBC scores and fixtures.

and wasn,t football supposed to be an entertainment for the masses. Entertainment and not just a clock watching exercice wishing our life away. feel eventually there will be a world where watching football does not exist thanks to the coaches, managers, owners and experts selling something to fans that does not exist.

The ‘entertainment side has been ditched for the crude technical aspect of the game…we are now experiencing it…not so much Featherstone’s quick appraisal, more ‘quack’ appraisal.
