Lino should have been able to help him out on the call, ref was behind play so not the easiest viewpoint for him to give it.
How the feck was their striker allowed to shoot so easily from that distance, and how poor was the keeper in being beaten?

Assuming Pools had someone on the pitch who could put a penalty away Pools would have had one more point and 'Alifax two less. It would have prolonged the agony for another week at least...

Yes, their goal was a soft one to concede. Been saying for weeks now that Hayes is a long way behind the two keepers we had on loan. So has Stelling in the Fail.

have you noticed also when miley is getting ready to take the free kick our players all gather in the 6 yard area taking the fax players with them.
Denying miley a clear strike on goal so he has to go high.

giving the time of the game it was harder to give the penalty with the score as it was. in real time i think they got the benefit of the doubt like we might have done if we were 2 goals down. doubt i,d have given it without a slow mo recording of the incident.

lets just say there are a number of times very late in games that soft penalties have been given that do not alter the result of games. seems they need to be nailed on decisions for them to be given if it could affect the result. that incident was not nailed on by any means but i was leaving morrisons car park by the time it happened.

thats the type of decision we,d have got with VAR and is what it should be used for and not the crap that it is. a good system that would benefit the game if used correctly and not by the ones using it.
