a black superman does not bother me as much as black characters in historical dramas set in england does. heard they are getting a black heathcliffe in a new wuthering heights remake. obviously they have never read the book or know much about early 19th century yorkshire moors.

Other candidates for the black treatment in the centuries to come:

Alf Ramsey - first black manager to win the World Cup for England in 1966, with a team full of muslims, african players and the odd white footballer.
Winston Churchill - the black leader of Britain who stood up to Germany during the 2nd World War.
Margaret Thatcher - first female black leader of Britain in 1979.
Simon Weston - brave black soldier who overcame his burns and received national recognition for his bravery.
George Best - black Irishman who was blessed with supreme football skills.

The above may sound ridiculous but with Anne Boleyn being portrayed by a black woman, anything is possible.

Mind you if things don't go as planned:

Nelson Mandela - white african who came to power to unite the country.
Laurie Cunningham, a white lad from London who represented his country at football and became the first to do so born in Archway.
Martin Luther King - a white american who was shot while trying to bring the whites and blacks together.
Muhammad Ali - a white champion boxer who also worked hard for white civil rights.
Sidney Poitier, first white man to receive an oscar playing a black man.

he must have been the only black man who went pale or even white with fear thats stated in the book. i,ll find the relative pages if you like as i,d hate anyone to have to read the whole thing.

there was but he was behind the camera too shy to be seen as he invented it and sold the invention to a whitey.

until the 1950,s that could easily have happened. it does not mean we have to go in the opposite direction to keep a minority happy. especially in this country where there was always black musicians and singers in tip jobs.
