Agreed Ozzmeister unfortunately think playoffs are very unlikely, all we can do is try and keep scraping wins and see what happens, but as you say they look a step above us. Improvement needed in the performance play-offs or not, or Featherstone will be out the door come the summer.

Our only option is to battle on and start the rebuilding process behind the scenes for next season and not leave it to the last minute , for next season.

The teams in the play off positions are streets ahead of us in quality unfortunately. Even if we somehow manage to scrape into the last play off place we wouldn't have an earthly chance of getting any further.

i have seen carlisle, scunthorpe and southend in non pools games and say all are beatable on the day making errors like we do. momentum is a great thing. any team grabbing that 7th position with a 5 pr 6 match unbeaten run will have a chance.

back in the says of no substitutes we,d have lost even with them down to 10 men. his job should be decided on his starting 11 and tactics. saturdays ref gave him a result on saturday and a stupid tackle was the deciding factor last night and the subs coming on. we might be 6 points better off but have seen no improvement in the team and even campbell has gone backwards again. hope LS can see this and not getting excited about the wins only. know i,m not.

its hard to see after last night. you can see how they held rochdale but really ran out of steam late on. if they were as shithouse as they were last night then its good riddance for me.

Micky Barron was commentating with Rob Law last night and he was very quick to point out the problems with our shape during the first half and that we needed one fewer defensive midfielders and one more up front. If he can see it so clearly within minutes (as does everyone else on here) why cant Fevs see it? Also when Miley is dragged back in defense one of the other mids need to go forward to keep our shape yet he concluded that they are clearly instructed not to do so, leaving Reid totally isolated.

Folarin has been a revelation since his return and I wonder whether Chelmsford was his Boston United (Boydy) moment.

If Fevs wants to avoid a P45 he would be advised to negotiate a return to a coaching role as it is clear that his negative management strategy will not satisfy the fans nor the bean counters.

could be a case of him rising from just being a player doing a bit of coaching to being a full time manager with a difficult job has come too quick for him. on top of that he has no experiance of signing players with fees involved with higher profiles. id he is going to stay a good director of football becomes a real must.
