2-3 million was what Raj put in to clear the debts wasn’t it? I seem to remember him saying something along the lines of wanting to get back what he put into the club. Just a guess though, and maybe as said above the seemingly quick, out of nowhere announcement might’ve meant he paid over the odds.

"Losing" a million or two won't be too difficult for most astute businessmen. I wouldn't think we'll ever know how much Raj paid, spent, or received during his ownership spell and that's the same at every privately owned club, I'd expect there may be a few community owned clubs at lower levels where these things would be public. And to be fair why should the numbers be made public?

Clarence 18 were debited up, it will have show their debts have been settled and I assume the company will be closed down.

It might be ‘lost’ but in the Prestige Group Accounts, 2 million is a large sum of money for a company like The Prestige Group.

Firstly, do you know the deal structure? How much was 'debt repayment'? How much was equity? And of the equity - how was it then channelled to the likes of Mr Stelling? Sure some will eventually find its way to the Prestige holding company. How much was deferred? How much was subject to anti-embarrassment clauses (or similar)? Has Prestige retained any equity? Has any element of the arrangement been set as future consultancy fees?
Secondly, how will you know when the debts have been repaid and who by? Will you be able to tell this from the financial statements of the relevant entities for the 2025/26 financial year? I wonder about this given the (legal) manoeuvring by Raj and his auditors to restrict disclosures in C18 Limited.
Thirdly, why do you assume that C18 Limited will be closed down? Do you mean liquidated? What about Mr Stelling? Surely C18 will exist until such time as HUFC NSD Limited has made all and any outstanding payments for the equity in HUFC Ltd? Including any anti-embarrassment payments arising out of a future sale. Then would it settle any balances due (divi any profits etc) and be dissolved?

So I can imagine why sums may be hidden from view - and I use the word 'hidden' as in legal but not transparent - rather than being purposely hidden.

I look forward to your reply - not today or tomorrow - but in the distant future when the accounts of the likes of HUFC NSD, C18, etc have been published and you have used your financial knowledge and expertise to interpret said documents. All we know today is that HUFC NSD has replaced C18 as 'person with significant control'; and for that I am sure that we all agree that we are in a better place than we were.

Sage Investments' charge was satisfied on the 16th Dec 2020.

So basically HUFC owe Raj and the English Sports Council (paid in installments from what I can work out).

How much Raj got or wants paid back we may never know, but the charges by Raj against HUFC may prove useful info.

Just please send the published details with your full explanatory comments - so we know what we are looking at - and I promise to read all of it - I won't stop when I don't understand anything or the words are too long. And for now, I still agree with Snowy and PTID.

The accounts made public on Companies House are what a company wants to show, they don't tell the full story, as BHLF says it will not be as straightforward as "here's X pounds" it'll be a complex transaction and why would either the buyer or the seller want the details of the deal publicised. It's feck all to do with us.

Everybody as I said has different types of sense of humour, some comedians i like, others I don’t, I could never find Morecambe & Wise, Cannon & Ball funny. The 2 Ronnies and Smith & Jones I did find funny. Peter Kay doing stand up i don’t find particularly funny but I did in his TV series.

Have you ever read The Ragged Trouser Phinanthropist by Robert Tressle, based pre 1914. it was common place on some sites I worked on for tradesmen to turn up in the mornings to see if there was any work available, I even did myself. I’ve read the book, still got the copy on my book shelf, nestled between 1984 and the Gulag Archipelago…and Tootles the Taxi I picked up at a book fayre in the late 70’s….a classic I kid you not.
