Just got up…all alone, X raying the the presents …this is the worse part, me and the hounds waiting for he Her Majesty to regain consciousness and get into the serious business of wrapper tearing….never grew out of it.
Our next door neighbour is a nurse and she has a girl of four……. we got her mums wrapped presents from her loft the day before to store so they can be transferred back after she’s gone to bed as they’re stored above her bedroom so to avoid waking her ….brought all the good memories back…..Merry to one and all

Love the solitude of a couple of hours early morning every day then a long walk with the dogs before She Who Must be Obeyed makes an appearance. Even better this morning with "It's a Wonderful Life" followed by Kate's Xmas Carol Service on the box, not a religious person but they were both full of the message of humanity.
Got another hour or so before the hordes arrive, humanity goes out the window and the build up to the usual fighting and bickering kicks of with the grandkids. Never mind, I've got my peace and quiet tomorrow morning again to look forward to, and another couple of strolls out with the dogs for a break from it all.

merry christmas to all from darkest west yorkshire. actually its like every thursday with a good amount of traffic about and harden moor just as busy with regular dog walkers. looking at the christmas tv schedule i can see youtube getting a real bashing.
