Difficulty in controlling the ball and some of the passing was woeful. Pitch looked a bit lively to me, maybe that was the reason. I hope so because We should be witnessing better from so called professional footballers, I was bored to tears. Reid might be the lone striker and somewhat isolated but he still couldn't take the chances that came his way. Johnson should be nowhere near the bench never mind the pitch. Braintree had a couple of decent loanees and created some chances of their own. Good job our goalie was alert. Another game there for the taking but I suppose a point away from home is something but no where near enough.
The lad from York was lively but turned back on himself too much for me. I expect an out and out winger to take players on a bit more than he did. Going by the amount of game time he has been given this season, the York Manager agrees with me. We have booked a three night stay in Perranporth for the Truro game. That trip is asking to be cancelled the more I see this lot play.

The new bloke on loan will probably get better with more game time - he's barely had 100 minutes on the pitch all season with York.

Aye, those preseason games where everyone has met up the day before playing their first friendly…..except 6 months down the line they still don’t know each other.

How many games will it take for Featherstone to realise Reid as a lone striker doesn't work?
Why are we not having a real go at putting teams like Braintree to the sword instead of being happy with a clean sheet and hoping to somehow nick a goal?
Why is there no plan B, if you've seen us once since Feb took charge you know exactly what to expect from starting line up, style of play, likely substitutions and timings, were just so dour and predictable.
Used to really look forward to Boxing Day games but just wondering wether to put myself through another gutless, heartless performance that is expected.

reid has never been a target man or a real threat playing for poor sides. can also fall out quickly with managers and coaches if they do something he does not agree with.
