All the chat seems to be that he's still hankering after bringing in another manager to replace Grayson.

Assuming the owner gives a stuff about the opinion of the club's fans, which is debatable, he must be wondering how much longer he can ignore Featherstone's unbeaten run in the NL. Getting turned over by Yeovil would make life so much simpler.

Maybe Lennie Lawrence can have a word on Feath's behalf? After all, his 4 wins in 7 games is a sight better than the 4 wins in 13 games Mr Burns managed during his own spell in charge

I suppose it all comes down to whether the "chat" is genuine or just another made up mischievous rumour.

Is it a co incidence that hours after you posted this topic Mr H, we get a decision. I favour the idea that if Raj did intervene it would be to tell this so called board that is supposed to be making decisions, to make a decision. That sounds more like it to me.
Whoever is responsible for the decision I think him/her/they has made the right one. Give the lad a chance and if he continues to do a decent job, then extend his tenure and if it all goes tits up, what have we lost. We gave a young man a chance years ago and that young man went to the very top and there were plenty of doubters about that appointment let me tell you. What does he know about management was the cry. The answer was I know sod all but I'll sure as hell bust a gut to find out.
Will lightning strike twice, we'll soon find out.
