I fully appreciate that Mr I has had a hell of a task on his hands with the new board but it is seemingly totally quiet tonight. Reminds me of the Twilight Zone or Outer Limits. Perhaps you are all in different dimension?

I'm here SJ!

See we've signed a keeper on loan from Millwall - George Evans- goes straight into the team tomorrow, (assuming the game goes ahead, due to the impending storm)

Gutted for Cartwright - what a player he has been for us this season. Sounds like he could be out a good while.

Sadly, I don't think we will see Cartwright back at Pools, he's obviously a cut above NL level and bigger fish than us will be hovering to pick him up once he regains fitness.
Good luck to the lad, I think we would have 4 or 5 points less than the current total had he not made those regular appearances. Good move by Grayson to quickly secure a replacement let's hope he's as effective as Cartwright.

Grayson now needs to address the sterile, passive midfield and forward line before the current slump results in an end to realistic play off hopes - and a potential early FA Cup exit.

there must be some talent at hull in the goalkeeping department. donny rovers have a hull loaneee as a regular keeper in league 1. must be good if he is seen as a better one than cartwright was.

9 signed in, just over 200 guests, surprised no comments about the game, I turned it off after it was 2-0, if the teams below us pick up points Pools will slide further down the league.

Can only assume that many contributors are still having difficulty in signing on - or perhaps they are all pissed off as yet another promising start yet again evolves into Groundhog Day mid table mediocrity - or worse.

I've just has a thought. I haven't yet done the root url as the forum has always run on pooliebunker.co.uk/newbunker. Anyone just typing pooliebunker.co.uk would have got an empty link. I've now redirected the root to the forum.

Couldnt get on yesterday but seems fine today. As regards the game yesterday, same old same old, huffing and puffing but getting nowhere. Till we start signing some quality players this is how it will always be unfortunately.

unless we get the leagues best scouting network we are always going to struggle with less money to spend than most teams above us. we must have more exiles than most and i,m sure out of them all there will be some with the ability and time to spend on helping the club. over the years i have wrote to pools recommending players without reply and then saw them having decent careers in the game. not stupid names but loanee types and those in our price range.

Not sure if Grayson or Monks (or both) have been pulling the strings in respect of signings and but even accepting the financial restraints, they have recruited poorly with two or three exceptions. I wonder if any local (ie northern) EFL clubs have been approached in respect of talented youngsters although I appreciate that playing for Pools in the NL is hardly something to brag about to your mates - but is surely a better experience than U21 football?

I suspected that there was something else afoot because the latency was intermittent depending on the time of day, for me anyway.
It is improving.
Maybe the next mission is to do an in depth study into all the methods, practices and general direction the club is going and make the necessary corrections which are identified.

Good to hear from you too Sussex…My dogs have been neutered …having a dog and bitch it seemed a good idea…trouble is no one has told them….Ratboy has become the canine Charles Aznavour, but Ruby has become the Virgin Queen….such is life.

we have tried that with little success with most players loaned from the big 3 NE clubs. how many times have we said, oh no not another boro kid. Our best loan players have come from outside the area in recent years plus those signed full time.
