And Stelling apparently. I thought he would have been allowed in after The Mail apologised....apologised for stating facts.

Absolutely ridiculous, Singh's toys completely out of the pram, yet again he's making a laughing stock of the club.

I have spoken to radio Tees and been told that the ban has been lifted as per statement but too late to broadcast todays game and as things stand will only be doing live commentary for away matches. Some one at the club needs to grow up.

What a pathetic small minded owner with which we are lumbered!

Radio Tees are wholehearted supporters of Pools for which the club should thankful.

Same difference in fact. I had BBC Radio Tees on for the drive over to the game. The gist of what they said was that Raj had written to them objecting to 'inaccurate reporting' about the takeover, they had invited him 'more than once' to come on and give his side of things but so far he hadn't taken the opportunity. Rob Law was only doing his job, as responsible broadcasters they couldn't accept him being banned and so they wouldn't be doing live commentary on HUFC home games till this was resolved.

This was around 2.30 this afternoon - I imagine there's a way to listen back if you want to.

So, either our glorious chairman avails himself of the chance to go and be interviewed or he'll be depriving Pools fans who can't get to the game of a very valuable service for the foreseeble future. An easy choice for anyone who really cares about the football club and its fans.

Bet he was the sort of kid who wouldn't let anyone else play with his toys. I know I was

Those who can no longer get to matches are now left in the wilderness.

Radio Tees have said numerous times that Radgy is more than welcome into the Radio Tees studio to explain his side of what's going on.

But we just know that ain't going to happen.

We need some more positive results to put this shit temporarily on the back burner.

I suppose there's an easier option for Raj than tying himself in knots on the radio. He could just lift the bans on Rob Law and Robbie Stelling and pretend he's being magnanimous - not that anyone will be fooled that it's anything other than a climb down.

I can’t imagine who would conduct the interview, I don’t think Rob Law would be acceptable to Singh, Singh would want to see the questions first then select the ones he wanted or could answer, no replies allowed. There wouldn’t throw any light on anything that has been mentioned in the past.
As far as legalities are concerned I assume Tees could afford a better lawyer than Singh ?

That could be true, but…….it doesn’t work like that just because you can’t get there anymore..I did 60 years ….and going despite the old man warning me off as a kid (only because he was there with his drunken mates and terrified in case the old girl found out)…..and when I couldn’t, it wasn’t a case of locking the door, pulling down the shutters and walking away and forgetting about it.
It’s not like that, so make the most of it while you can.

Of all things to piss off its a radio station thats stood behind us for years, can this leader of ours get anymore clueless. No wonder 1000 fans couldn't be arsed to turn up yesterday. Imagine in the middle of winter if we start struggling and weather's rubbish, crowds be dreadful. Sign a couple of decent loanees back down from the dummy spitting, get on the radio answer questions that aren't rigged and who knows he might win back a few.

its a bad state of affairs from both fans and an owner who stay away because of the owner or the owner himself giving a reason for their actions. just hope our next owner will be a faceless one who makes no statements but backs our club quietly in the manner we want. thats if i,ll be around to see it.

Think you're ignoring how few were in the away end. Braintree had barely 20 fans in yesterday. The Southend gate of 4,452 on the first day of last seson was exceptional - it wasn't bettered till we hosted Oldham on New Year's Day.
Can't remember how many Southend brought to the Rink End but it was rocking - they'd just been taken over. Their average home gate last season was over 7,300.

Fair point Mr Hogans

Comparing gates which include Braintree fans against gates with Southend fans is slightly imbalanced to say the least.
Let's see how many Woking bring.

I agree, as much as I miss listtening to he game, the BBC should back Rob here and not back down to him. Raj has now alienated most if not all exiles over nothing. A story that had gone by and mostly forgotten about. He and the club are a living PR disaster

I was also annoyed yesterday but not at Raj's keenness to use the litigation route (everyone has had good warning that he intends to use the litigation route) but at the way people keep giving him the ammunition and ability to do it. Notwithstanding that his legal team are backing him on this campaign.
These legal wrangles will either be settled by mutual agreement, one of the party's backing off, or in high court, then we'll see who is in the right. Until then I prefer to wait and see.

Lawyers and barristers don't come cheap we all know that. I do hope that all of the legal arguments are going on at Raj's personal cost and not in behalf of the club. Unless he's got a no-win no-fee type legal representation.

I would imagine as the comments were related to HUFC not to Singh as an individual the club would pick the tab up.

Would that mean if the BBC lose, Rob Law should pick up the cost and not us licence fee payers.

I dont think he's said anything, I might have missed something, but it seems to be more to do with getting Kieran Maguire on to give his opinion.

Yeah I'd imagine any action would be against the publishing company (The Mail) and the broadcasting company (BBC Tees).
The question is who's allegedly been wronged the club or Raj?

Talk of High Courts and expensive barristers - is this not just a case of Raj being annoyed and using threats? Personally, I’d be surprised if it escalates that far. The ‘incident’ with Rob Law seems entirely because he chose to get views from Kieran Maguire and nothing to do with anything Rob has said. If that isn’t the case then please correct me but I don’t recall seeing anything to suggest Rob has said anything libellous or incorrect.
Kieran also seemed very happy to state that they have ‘robustly’ replied to a separate letter from Raj or the club (not sure who sent it.) It’ll interesting to see how that pans out.

Yes, and they pretty much filles the Rink End - like they did last season. I commented then that there were almost as many in as they get for home games. Ridiculous having the local deby on the opening day of the season. Only in the comedy NL.

Yeah I think they brought nearly 50 percent of their home crowd which is a cracking effort, but Saturdays crowd was still a shocker for the first home game. Two years ago we would of got 4000 plus against anybody, some are using braintree as an excuse for the crowd being low. Doesn't help them bringing no one but let's be honest it wasn't the only reason 600 700 fans didn't turn up.

do not think this is a legal issue. the club can ban anybody from entering the vic even if that person has done little wrong. only way out of it is talk between both party,s to resolve the matter.

I couldn’t imagine Singh would want it to go to court as he would have to prove as McGuire quoted the club isn’t worth a pound therefore meaning Singh would have to prove it wasn’t by opening up on the clubs finances.
Singh doesn’t like anyone questioning his business acumen and will say he already runs an another successful business in The Prestige Group.
McGuire mentions Pools value as £1 jokingly ? Does any one know the true value of Pools counterclaims mention assets, the players the lease etc on the ground etc but we no one knows if the assets woul cover the debt Pools allegedly have.

It might be better if these things were ignored, because I imagine no one cares about these comments and this reaction only draws attention and highlights the things they’re trying to stifle.
Self defeating.

I know lots of people who have not renewed their STs and all of them know a good few too.
I wonder what the number is of ST sold.

If Pools have some success on the field the money lost on ST sales will be recouped at the gates.

If we are successful they might get more money as the normal ST holders go back. Pay on the day is substantially more. We would also see Xmas pressie half ST appear.
All pure speculation of course and a few ifs buts and maybes.
As for finding out how many ST's holders there are, we need a leak. Someone will claim they know and we'll get a figure. Will we believe it.

To maintain 3500ish we Gunna have to stay top 7ish for the duration of the season.

Going off the available seats for Braintree on Thursday I'd say about 1000 STs were sold.

Sure it was 2000 last season.

Think we all realise we 2 decent signings away from Realistically finishing 7th or slightly above.
