Hartlepool United’s worst-ever start to a season is historically anchored in the 1986/87 campaign, though their current 2026/27 National League campaign has officially broken records as the lowest league position in the club's history.

Got to hope Solihull don't win on Saturday.
Surely Gateshead don't repeat last seasons great escape.

I reckon only 47 pts needed to stay up.

one good thing about struggling near the bottom is if you manage say to win 5 out of 7 games you,ll shoot up the league to mid table. its much harder making up the points when you are short of them for the play offs. most top teams pick up regulat points anf those at the bottom struggle.

A team in the bottom four winning 5 out of the next 7games would certainly jump up the table and if that was us I, for one, would be cock a hoop.
Win the lot and we are champions.......yippee.
