Merrick out for 6 weeks with a thigh tear and Kouogun out for at least 2 months with ligament damage.
Reinforcements needed!

Time for Campbell Darcy to show he’s England C’s future captain.

You really couldn't make it up, it happens virtually every season without fail, I reckon that Monkey put a curse on the football club.

The full tale of woe is:

Merrick out for 6 weeks
Kougun minimum 8 weeks with ankle ligament damage, if needs op then 3months.
John still has groin issue, decision today on whether he makes trip.
Mckeown struggling with ankle def out of Fridays game
Charman and Hampson still out.

I think they knew Kouogun was going to be long-term last weekend, which is why Campbell Darcy was recalled.

The way Merrick is mirroring what happened last season with Cartwright is uncanny. As a minimum Pools will have to get a loan keeper in so there is some competition for the spot.

Well if them Chairmans tweets from last week were real which Jamie said were then we should be ok.

This month for me is massive for all concerned at Pools as to which direction we are heading.

It's on to the main man now.
It's a results business not a cabaret show of good words.

I'm almost certain the tweets aren't really Landon, for one the account tweeted who would want to live in Middlesbrough as its a dump. He only has 150 followers as well.

I might be mistaken about Owen Hampson - he was in training today. Might make the bench at last?

Not a chance of reaching playoffs with present manager structure or playing squad.

injuries happen at all clubs its just we know about ours. kidderminster could have more out than us but we do not know. seems like last season all over again though. all defenders and keeper injuries with the usual wait for somebody to slice their first kick for us. dodn,t clark mention before the barrow game about all these good players he had were some would be unlucky not even to make the bench. well its time for him to get them going with a chance to prove themselves.

looking back we should have known it against barrow. all the fans were on a high that day and it was like being pissed and having sex with a stranger. we sobered up only to see what a dog she was.
