Guy reporting in the Mail about a Harrogate winger taking the "step up into the EFL in his stride" after joining Walsall, well he's not really is he, his team has just been relegated to the National League from League Two, he hasn't kicked a ball in the NL, therefore he isn't really taking a step up, he's staying exactly where he is

5 - 6 weeks was quoted on Saturday, hopefully the scan confirms this or brings better news.

Lee Clark has just confirmed it was a low grade MCL strain and it usually takes 6-8 weeks from the time of injury to recover.

Thanks for the reply. In some ways this good news, i was concerned he may have suffered a season ending injury.

going by the timeline given we might see him on the bench at least either this friday or the week after. he gives us something that the others do not. he is unpredictable and doubt he knoes himself what he is doing.

Clark was saying a week or two back that today's National League Cup game against Everton U-21s would be a chance to ease them back into playing games. Not sure if that's still the case.

1-0 loss. Big improvement on the Boro game. Live and learn.
