Houchen was on a Radio Tees talk in today, people were asked to pose questions, I did, I asked why was the land at Redcar sold for a £1 an acre subsequently the 2 businessmen made in excess of £50 million in scrap and why are they now allowed to sell part of it now.for over £200 million for a new Data Centre to be built.
The question was never asked surprisingly
I also asked what happened to a freight company called European Cargo based at Teesside Airport who started flights in March but went into admin in June, did they receive any grants, again the question wasn’t raised.
