Is out of contract at Gateshead and would make a good addition to our defence.

I've always liked Kenton and he's done well against us whenever I've seen Pools play the Heed. Still only 27.

Unlike our current centre-backs he's comfortable bringing the ball out of defence and can pick a pass. Was never the quickest though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him join up with Rob Elliott at Carlisle.

I noticed that their player of the year Harry Chapman who is from the town, still hasn't signed Gateshead's new contract offer.

I'd sign him up for a season with an option- shouldn't take too much persuasion.

Other than a keeper, which is obviously now top priority,
I'd try and sign Aaron Drewe- right back from Woking - he is quality, and think he is still without a club.

Reckon we could also do with a Mark Tinkler type- box to box midfielder, who chips in with a few goals.
A midfield inforcer in the Willie Bolland mould and an Andy Monkhouse for his shithousery!

Hopefully, if we haven't got one already- someone who can take a decent set piece is paramount (though Miley is improving on that front) and also long throw specialist would be most pleasing. :pray:

not sure how reliable the source was but we was rumoured to be interested in Drewe a few weeks ago, would be a brilliant signing that.

If he was ever coming here, the club had all the information needed to sign him a long time ago…..as we are employing someone to choose our signings and doing a decent job so far, he obviously doesn’t fit into their profile.
