That match today was like watching most of our games under Fev, all possession, huff and puff, but zero attacking threat. Boro had 68% possession and not a single shot in target in a match that was worth about £170m to them.
Modern coaching and VAR are killing the game.

Yes but with Fevs running it they would not have lost the game but on penalties.

A positively dreadful game, two inept sides barely landing a blow on each other. Boro were completely impotent should have signed a goalscorer in January and have paid a heavy price for not doing so - the reward being the only club to be knocked out of the playoffs twice in the same competition. More grief for Southampton who surely would have readily dealt with Hull City but only have themselves to blame.

Couldn’t see either of them surviving a season.
There’s usually a handful of signings with new clubs, but generally it needs a lot more than that to survive at that level

it will be another fight between all 3 promoted clubs and a couple of others who will get the 3 relegation spots. teams from our league rrely struggle getting back into the efl. more reasons to only have 2 promoted from the championship than from the nat.league. yes they,ll spend millions on players that cost around 5 to 10 million where the bigger clubs pay 10 times that. that was worse than pools yesterday because if you were like me you didn,t care a toss who won.

Now that would be a puzzle to the Gateshead fans with his 1-9 siege formation theory of how to win the title scoring only 46 goals and conceding none, theory of the game. :D
