Either Pools weren't interested, didn't get their act together in time or Livingston offered a better deal.

It'll be interesting to see now what happens with Cam John.

No doubt there was a hiatus while there was no manager/coach in situ at Pools so Sinclair's agent went for the deal on the table. I am surprised he didnt have better options than Livingstone but what do I know?

He’s had a long list of clubs and when he was good he was very, very good but when he was bad he was invisible.

His dad, Frank, tweeted that he'd turned down some great offers from the level he was at (I'm assuming we were one of them) and the level above to take on a new challenge.

Although it could simply be dad trying to soften a pretty poor choice by his son. 'some great offers' , nice and vague.

Somehow I never see travelling up to Scotland a forward move even at the top level…..nothing personal or nasty, just it’s always been a sideshow to me.

He has obviously gone for the best monetary and probably a long term contract offer not the location.

you get a shock sometimes when you hear of players getting a free transfer in league 2 ending up at one of the lower scottish premier league clubs. some at the lowland league level were thought to have died years back.

We need to try and stop these players using us as a last pay day where they hold out for as long as possible and sign when nobody else wants them.
Then they get dressed up as good signings.

I'd have signed him, but we move on- it's not going to define next season, like losing ManiD did this year
