I don't think NF will get away with it again by setting the team up for a 0-0!
Or will he?!?!

A game of only academic interest since play off chances gone barring miracles. Always hoping for a decent performance and maybe a win but hard to get excited.

43 mins before our first attempt on goal. Nine men behind the ball and Reid chasing shadows through no fault of his own

Seems to be another defend like fook. Feaths hoping for a 0-0 so he can harp on about resilience etc. I cant understand why he doesnt realise you need to win games to make any kind of progress. Wondering if he thinks his job is safe as long as Pools dont lose any of the remaing games. Formula = defend as if your lives depended on it and rely on Sinclair's pace to nick a goal. If no goal is nicked then a 0-0 is still respectable.

rinse and repeat many of our other games this season. question, who was the last pools player to score a goal.at least they are trying to make a game of it amd deserve to be winning.

It’s just becoming the default setting for Featherstones stunning football philosophy which is to bore everyone to death . On the occasions we do get the ball forward no one has any quality to to create any chances or feed the forwards . The manager has no idea about attacking intent. It’s all defend defend defend.

Perhaps we can avoid playing teams from the Greater London area next season? Sutton, Borehamwood, Wealdstone.. Woking and Aldershot not far off..

Pathetic! We should just post the points and save money.

Fevs shouldn't even be allowed to see out the season.

The big question is when will the next goal be scored for Pools?
Could it be next season!!!

Has anyone seen Featherstone's interview.

He doesn't sound confident of being here next season, and also suggested the uncertainty is impacting the players, and ended that brighter times will come with or without him in charge...

He's half-right, brighter times may or may not come (at present my money is on the latter I'm afraid) but they certainly won't come if Featherstone remains in charge.

Pools' passing game was so bad today that Adam Campbell was a big miss. No point playing Reid and Caton up front if you can't get the feckin' ball to either of them.

The kid on loan from Huddersfield showed them all up when he got on.

The kid actually did just that.

It’s a simple fact when Pools play against teams with energy and high press they have no idea and revert to every man behind the ball apart from Reid . Featherstone never has a plan B because defending is all he knows . It’s always difficult predicting the future but if he is in charge next year expect 25% of the gates at least. Probably cancel my DAZN subscription too

he showed something called energy which a few do not possess. my big gripe in that is daly who is only on the edge of the game and has a flash of brilliance once every couple of hours. he hardly got a touch yesterday but managed to stay on. unless miley got a knock it seemed strange to take him off. if we are going for the play offs next season we need to be at least as good as boreham wood in all aspects of the game. just cannot see us signing a player like the lad who scored a hat trick even if we had some in the side to provide the service. just have no faith in the manager or the recruitment team and its hard to see how things will change in a couple of months.

and not just featherstone as he is in good company with many who have also failed. the club needs a good shake up from top to bottom and it should have started the day the ink dried on the take over agreement. lets say there are not many we,d miss if they went.
