Had an argument last night about this weirdo. I simply don’t understand why he gets a free pass when in my opinion he’s in the same group as Savile, Rolf Harris, Paki rape gangs etc.

Good question but you might have to wait for a satisfactory answer.

Totally agree - how come Jackson gets airplay and all we see of Mr Glitter is his latest court appearance. Come on. Come on.

You're confusing the court of public opinion with the legal system. An American jury found Jackson not guilty on all charges at his trial in 2005.

Most people understand that he was a nonce but the law says differently. That's why his music still gets played - but nobody's forcing us to listen to it.

And the most of the BBC employees were complicit.

All the kids thought who is going to believe me that such a famous person would do anything like that, it’s only when they got older they had the courage to speak out. Johnny Rotten tried to out Jimmy Saville on the BBC but from what I know it was never broadcast and says he was banned from the BBC after that for a while.

the royals and the rich and famous are close to being exempt from prosecution in this country. if savile was still alive he,d still be loved by more than who hated him. not all sections of society are innocent till proved guilty and some innocents have found it hard to stay that way by taking the easy way out a guilty plea only to regret it when thats too late.

Johnny Rotten said there were others at the time and again a few years back, I wonder how many got away with it!

Completely agree Mr I.
Who in their right mind would have ever considered leaving their kids with him?

The bizarre thing is- I had a very similar conversation last week, after hearing one of his tunes on the radio at work, and I said exactly the same thing.

Yup. I was the first reply on this thread, nothing controversial yet my post has gone?

Anyway, Jackson is mysteriously forgiven by many (inc my wife) who just wish to sweep his dodgy doings under the carpet.

Never liked his ‘music’…never even saw the point of him.

The topic has been put up twice and your post is on the other one mate. No idea what has happened.
