He knows what he wants…which I like to see…makes a pleasant change.

When you think not so long ago we were getting the piss ripped out of us,
Lets hope the people who were complicit are no longer at the club.

Early days but I like the cut of his jib.

A bloody good read. A few months ago we could only dream of a new Pools owner being in place, addressing the fanbase in such an open, positive manner highlighting his clear ambitions for taking the club forward. There will inevitably be some bumps and knocks - but hopefully no potholes - on the road ahead and doubtless occasions when we as individuals don't necessarily concur with events. However I would hope that everyone will support Landon in his efforts to restore the club to the respected status that it enjoyed some twenty years back.

No unrealistic promises but supporting the manager and team in our play off push.
He also has a vision for the future, something that has been missing in recent years. Hopefully the fans continue to show their support and back the team in these two massive home games coming up.

a good read and i liked to hear he wants to make sure the club is run properly off the field as well as on it. most fans are only interested in the match day but succesdul clubs on the pitch are usually run right off it.

Hopefully he has a maintenance team in place to repair the floodlights, over the years they must have took some hammer at high level and exposed to all the elements, installed in 1967, quiz question, what was Pools first game under the floodlights ?

Only a letter but full of quality sentences.

People might not realise it now but we fell on our feet with Smithy rescueing our club when it was dead in the water like a sinking ship.

We Deffo in upwards mode now.

Id even trust him with Ownership of the Vic.
Long term future to eventually a 10000 Redevelopment Stadium.

UTP

You have a bad memory Jamie, already asked and answered on here not so long ago!

Someone gave the answer as Southend so it must have been Jan 6th 1967?

Can anyone confirm for Jamie?

Agree with you accrington, with Pools turbulent past, we don't want any decisions made during this era that will come back to haunt us later on.
I think Landon and his ambitions for the club are honourable but I would prefer we stay at the Vic and it remains council owned.

Long term memory is great, I can remember my first day at school and my first day starting work, unfortunately my short term memory isn’t great.
