He's gone into the usual new years lazy mode.
Will still be a non league player next season.

Braindead to not of learnt from the Pools game which should be common knowledge with the Internet.

He had a patch here last season, it was noticeable.

Missed half a dozen games with an injury but he's still got 16 goals and 5 assists so far this season. What a relief he's not our 'problem' any more

One of Manni's 'replacements' , Johnson hasn't even managed a 'patch' of effective form this season, whilst the other, Reid although proving himself to be a threat at times has hardly had the Vic rocking either.

Also brain dead to act like someone who scored 43 goals for us across 2 seasons is somehow bad. Typical crap from pools fans, doesn’t score at a 1 goal per game rate so somehow it’s him being “lazy” and not just normal for any striker at any level.

He’s scored 17 goals in 26 games this season meanwhile the strikers we’ve signed to replace him have scored 11 goals in 68 combined. Pools fans always somehow manage to support shit players who “give their all” which is code for basically running around like headless chickens contributing nothing while turning on the actually decent ones.

Manni is class and we've really missed him this season. I think that even with us playing 14 defensive midfielders game after bloody game he'd still have scored more than Johnson and Reid put together by now.

I don't think Manni was ever lazy, he was often isolated up front on his own and looked pissed off and disillusioned about having to do all the pressing and closing down on his own. Many games he saw more of the ball in our box defending set pieces than he saw in the offensive box. Then some idiot decided to drop him and play Madine instead. He's a huge miss but with our style of play he'd probably be struggling for goals this season.
He came to us because we offered more than Halifax did, no doubt he left mainly because Rochdale offered more than us, and I imagine he'll score plenty for them next season in League 2 as well.

Watching last seasons football, despite it’s drawbacks was more entertaining than what we are being served now.

Agree but don't think Mani was happy at the lack of support, service, and being dropped.
I can't get my head around clean sheets apparently being worth more than scoring goals in a sport where you can't win without scoring?

plus he knew quite early he would not be at the vic this season so his effort seemed to drop. possibly knew he was going to rochdale anyway with talks between them and his agent. think manni and reid would have been a good combination up front for us this season and not johnson who was a completely different player.

Some fans seem to get more satisfaction out of slagging off players regardless of their ability. Funny old world

To be honest I can't remember the last time we had a player where the fans' attitude was 'not the best but he always puts in a shift.'

That probably decribes Sherron quite well, but nobody's singing his praises. Social media seems to have made everyone more judgemental.

its when certain ones are picked out over others that winds me up. some can do nothing right in the eyes of the majority whilst some get excuses made for them. good and bad they are still pools players no matter what our own opinions of them are. no fan of walker by a long way but would love him to play and get a hat trick on saturday to win the game.

Why bring me into it, you can’t resist having a dig at me, you have got the OLD syndrome ,
This refers to a behavioral condition where a person becomes fixated on one individual, extreme jealousy, possessiveness and stalking or intense attraction to a person.

I have no problem criticising players on line, within reason…but vocal gobshitery aimed at players is never gonna a make a player play better, it’s negative and produce negative outcomes.

It was a joke Jamie, hardly a dig and I'm certainly not fixated, jealous, possessive, or attracted to you in any Fecking way.
Get a sense of humour FFS, and stop playing the game where you pick a random word or phrase out of a hat and match them to a name plucked out of another hat. I will accept I am old but only because I'm closing in on 70.

You have just produced a very accurate description of yourself, Jamie, with your obsessive criticism of and attacks on...one Nigel Farage.

Loads of people were praising Sheron last season. He’s the epitome of good at running around and smashing into people but contributes very little otherwise. The bloke can’t pass the ball 5 yards. There’s a place for him in a team, but feels like Pools fans always manage to let these sorts of players go under the radar for some reason.

I think ‘running around’ needs ‘ in circles’ adding to it because that’s how it is…what we lack in flair/ elan, we substitute with high mileage going around in circles.
Mani? The signs were there last season he’d be on his way.

having a pop at players is not confined to the vic as is moaning and groaning at games or on messageboards. watched the grimsby v walsall game the other night and the moans were louder from the grimby crowd when things went wrong than cheers for good play.
