Good result for us that. 1-2. The first half Gateshead looked like a team that shouldn't be anywhere near last place in this league. Butterfield, Chadwick and Beck were great going forward, playing very fluid entertaining football. Second half - no so much. They just stopped. But a good 3 points to the Heed and 3 points missed by Halifax in 7th place.

Now we just need to win all of our games.

Attendance was a massive 870 (EIGHT HUNDRED & SEVENTY - ala vidiprinter), which included 37 Heed fans!

And we thought we had problems- that is fucking embarrassing from the Shaymen - do they not want a team to support?! There can be NO excuses for such a piss poor attendance, particularly given their league position.
That said, they did lose to the Heed- who'd lost 13 on the bounce!

To be fair, their crowds have always been like this, but disappointing for the club if you’re on the edge of the playoffs.

they are all too worried to go out because of the news thats more important in the town that there rugby league club has gone into admin and are worried about its future. its never been a football town and there ground was developed more for the rugby ground than for football. A northern league park type ground would suit em better.
