Gas prices, going down.

Electric prices going up.

Yet all government policy is directed at weaning people off gas and on to electric. For instance I've just been forced to buy a built in electric oven as the gas ones are now virtually impossible to get hold of.

Grrrrrrrr.

Some eye watering figures, billions of pounds how the U.K. is being ripped off and partly by the Chinese who own some of the infrastructure relating to gas distribution, the video is 20 minutes long,

Gas cookers are still widely available to buy and install in the UK from major retailers like Currys, Argos, and AO.com. Despite long-term decarbonisation goals, they remain common and are still being manufactured, with prices ranging from roughly £240 to over £2,000 for range cookers.
I can never remember having a gas cooker preferring an electric fan assisted oven as the temperature was more controllable but always had a gas hob, nowadays I prefer an air fryer, basically as we know a miniature electric fan assisted oven and more efficient as your heating a smaller area.

Tony Blair has intervened and advised Starmer to forget net zero and get out drilling for gas….because we’re bankrupting the country with our high energy prices.

Gas cookers yes. Gas built in ovens no.

If you have a built in one ( like me) you’re screwed. A choice of one basically. Also it’s illegal/not allowed to place built in gas ovens in any new build.

Some goon on the telly earlier tonight saying that prices will become more competitive now that Venezuela will be upping it's production due to US backing, forgetting that if we were to produce our own fuels from the North Sea it would be matter less what other countries charge if your self sufficient.

We having the piss ripped out of us regarding bills n food.
Me water bill went up 22% in 6 months despite using the same units.
( Ya just knew they were gunna join in the pisstakeing of the gas/Leccy suppliers)

Broadband going up 10%

But Rachel n Starmer think there doing us a favour when they tell the Ons to fiddle January's Inflation down to 3% on Wednesday.
And Bailey recommending poor people accept. low% pay rises this year to keep inflation down.

All a bunch of selfish cranks.

like there supporters are who actually bang on about the country has turned a corner and throw out figures that do not affect the ordinary person. all most are bothered about is turning the corner of the supermarket to see something that never happens. prices staying the same or going down. petrol might be cheap today, but come easter and the holidays it will be back up again with the blame set on somewhere else.
