Another example of a ‘manager’ reaching for the dictionary to make things sound knowledgable, the dictionary meaning is…. ‘covering a wide area in terms of space or scope’ so does he mean what exactly…?
Maybe some ‘expensive ‘ signings in the shape of proficient players would be more fitting…along with a manager?

Can even the staunchest NF supporter agree that he's getting this basic part of management right?
We've had far poorer individuals and teams but they've been applauded off at the end of games for clearly being fully committed and giving their all, and let's face it that's all that most of us want to see because generally it'll get you somewhere be it safety or promotion.

IMO Featherstone should have used the Rochdale game as a template for the rest of the season. In that game, average players played with a belief and energy. In that Featherstone reverted back to hoof football tells us that the guy has not learned anything about attacking football. Like I have said before he is too safe, pedantic and not ruthless . Challoner would not have stood for the sort of football we are seeing week in week out. Featherstone talks a good game but is totally out of his depth .

you have got to realise every team we play are really good and are in false positions in the league. as a manager he is a mirror image of what he was as a player with not plan B. unlike good sides we seem to worry more about our opponents than worry about our performances and control games.
