Location: Somewhere near Hartlepool
I've come across a badge that has on it, Hartlepool Panthers 1952.

Anybody got any idea what they were? My best guess would be an ice hockey team.

Stock cars or Speedway but i am guessing.
Cant see anything on the google but then again its 1952 :lol:

If you cannot find anything try messaging a bloke called Roger Codner via Arsebook. He is a historian in the town.

Panther motorcyles were produced between 1904 and 1968 out of Cleckheaton. Were a cult bike until the business went bust. Is this a Hartlepool owners club?

There was a roller skating team operating about that time ,but a can’t recall the name

Found this on Google.

“Hartlepool Tigers" and "Hartlepool Panthers" were the names for the senior teams of a local rink hockey league in Hartlepool as of 1951. They were also joined by a junior side called the "Hartlepool Cubs".

quite a famous little place is cleckheaton. midget gems were originally made there as well as mintex break linings and a firm famous for its asbestos products.
