Apparently we have 3 contracted players for next season

Miley is definitely 1 of them
Any idea who the other 2 are?

I'd hazard a guess at Donaldson and Kougan,, maybe Reid?

We'll obviously find out, once the retained list is published in the next week or so.

Miley, Sheron and Kougan are the three. We also have an option to keep Mcnally for another year.

So is Hayes not under contract for next season? We paid a fee for him.

I'd only keep Reid if the new manager plays 2 up front.

Still a shit division.

I'm optimistic that Smithys Bromby deal ends this play off failure.

Hope you're right about Kouogun and McNally at least. Knew Miley had a contract for next season and an option for the one after.

I hope this is correct. There's so much dead weight on the books at the moment.

Are any of the young 'uns going to be under contract? (Stephensen, Darcy, Aungiers?).

doubt any of them are being paid much, but like all young lads the club needs to make a decision on whether they are the future or not. pointless keep loaning them out just to get game time and possibly not at the right clubs for them. just cannot see any of the so called dead weight being offered anything if they cannot cement a starting place in the side including the ageing parkes or the invisble man daly.

Thankfully whoever takes over the managerial reigns, isn't going to be saddled with loads of players they don't want/ rate. Unlike the aftermath of the Hartley debacle that basically cost us our league status, having blown two seasons budget on shit sub standard sweaties, - the likes of Jake Hastie and the lad that went to Dundee, after basically going on strike- (Sylla?)

It's pretty much a blank canvas, which has got to be an attractive proposition to any potential managerial applicant, coupled with the new regime post Raj.

IF we get this appointment right - the good times are not too far away!

Interesting. He's done alright at Barnsley and is leaving them in a decent position in League One. It would take a very good offer to persuade him to drop down 2 divisions. Maybe there's gold in them thar Minnesota hills after all

Surely not. He's in a job now. In League 1.

I've still heard Darrell Clarke is the man.

Hourihane has already agreed with Barnsley he's leaving at the end of the season. Big drop to come here and he's only had 1 season as a manager anywhere I think. If he does come he'd be welcome to bring Reyes Cleary back mind!

If possible take up the option on Mcnally and then go for some quality up front. Take a look at the North and South National leagues for top scorers and up and coming star players remember that is where both Mcnally and Kougan came from and they have been amongst our better players. I would also go in for Harvey Cartright or George Evans as our keeper.
