Scored for Gateshead tonight. A better signing than Walker, and a replacement for Featherstone, don't know how Gateshead source and attract decent players Pools seemingly can't.

He knows Armstrong from when he was at Boro, I think that's pretty much how he's at Gateshead.

Why do we have these ‘why didn’t we sign him syndrome’ out bursts…which if followed through would have a squad the size of a regiment….selective nit picking.

I'd be more worried about the centre forward we had and let go for nowt.

Which one? Lets hope that our new strike force kicks into action this weekend in order to allay the current concerns of the doubters.

How did we let him go? He wasn't our player once his contract ran out, he was made an offer but chose to go elsewhere - pretty much the same circumstances as when he joined us wasn't it?
