Hard to believe that the Rotherham game was only 3 and a half years ago - and that we only missed out on a Wembley Final on the second last kick of a penalty shoot-out.

Raj chucked it all away a few months later with a disastrous change of manager (Hartley!) and failure to tie down key players with sensible contract offers. Ironic that Spike Lee has had Spennymoor to an FA Trophy final while Pools keep falling at the first hurdle.

surely our record in all the non local cup competitions is one of the worst about. not many real giant killings in over 100 years where worse than us have had them and gone on further in all the 3 competitions we have played in. these competitions might have be devalued over the years but are still the best advertisment the club can get thats positive.

Daft Bugger. Mr Farage needs your presence on here but you will have been reading the dirt digging from afar no doubt.
And a Merry Christmas to you and yours.
It's me birthday tomorrow, so I expect your forthcoming felicitations.

Didn’t Ralph Ward Jackson sponsor the ball in our last successful Cup Match.
Just saw and advert for Paddypower on the box featuring a loser club called ‘Hardlypool’ did a double take.
