I caught part of his program on Discovery yesterday climbing in a volcano and he is mad, I was told he was a Lt in the Navy and went on to join the SBS until he broke his back in Africa.

A much watch program for anyone planning to get lost in the wildernessof Newcastle, jungles of S.E. Birmingham or climb the highest peaks of Norfolk.

I go with Mr Mutley he is a 1st rate cant.

I watch the show all of the time. I tget a good laugh out if it. The bloke's bonkers. Has anyone seen the episode where he cannot find water so he resorts to grabbing a hold of a load of elephant shit and sqeezes it together to drink the juices? Classic.

seriously though could you be arsed trekking around bolivia eating boiled snakes and chincillas bollocks when there's a burger king on the marina?

cock.

But he isnt on the Marina, is he?

They tend not have BK's McDonalds or PizzHut in the wilderness of Boreno, do they?

Actually the chinchilla bollock shop is in between KFC and MacDonald's downtown in Nanning. Does a roaring trade.

Alright if you need a McShit as well. All I ever go in there for.

yeah, but how many of us are gonna find ourselves in the wilderness of borneo with no food at any point in our lives ? errrrrr none. so basically its useless information. and its useless information involving the barbaric killing of animals for so called lads "entertainment."

what next ? televised dancing bears ? badger baiting ? fox hunting ?

So why watch programs about climbing everest, sailing the seven seas, space travel etc etc

As for the animal stuff I dont know, but I'm suprised a TV station would show a live turtle being mullered in a fire, especially without a warning beforehand

I hoped his parachute would fail to open in the first episode ... He's a git like all these survival nutters, If a disaster strikes where I have to live on grilled sticklebacks and frogs ringpieces I'll just kill myself anyway rather than endure such a miserable excistence.

Last night - pee pee shrimps.

Look like giant cockroaches (don't even get me started on the 'roaches...) maybe 6 inches long, obviously bought live at the fish market and murdered for our delectation.

I didn't even dare ask where the name comes from but I bet it's something to do with sewerage...... confised
