Does not matter will get beat if we get played off the park like today,only luck got us through.

So how do you work that out?That means we got beat today?No we got through so maybe we get through next round as well no pleasing some people.And no i am not saying we played well and everything is fine just saying enjoy a victory for a change its what we needed so hopefully start of better things

Couldn't think of a worse draw than Salford at home, the BBC are wanking themselves silly over them recently. It'll be on TV and everyone would be against us. Altringham at home will do me.

I don't we got got played off the park, we were crap like but we only came under any real pressure in the last 15 minutes when we sat deep and looked like a team who hadn't won at home since August.

Carson, Duckworth, Bates, Jackson, Bingham and Gray all did pretty well, I thought Carroll was an absolute liability at times not sure why he starts every game.

I like the look of Gray a couple of times he ghosted past defenders like they weren't there, we just needed to get him on the ball more. Jackson did very well, read the game and put himself about.

Before the last 15 minutes they had missed a sitter from a header before that they had too close shaves first half that were both given offside. They didn't really create anything. Apart from Carroll all the defenders had good games and Carson even though he only made one real save (which was also given offside) was assured. I have already said we were crap, definitely didn't deserve to win, but they didn't play that well not well enough to play anyone off the park.

We sounded awful from the commentary today like we were playing a team from leagues above not below. Lucky win by the sound of it.

I admire your efforts to try and put a positive spin on the game, but it was fucking dire again. Negative tactics, shocking fitness levels, first touches that belong on the rec, no ideas, no creativity, no football, no chances, nothing. It was a god awful game of football.

We sat back for the full 90 minutes, never mind the last 15. We set up like we were playing a team leagues above, and expected nothing than the odd chance on the counter attack. However, King Ronnie cancelled any hopes of a counter attack by leaving the only striker with any pace on the bench. It was utterly embarrassing how deep we were today. Their defenders had as much time and space as they wanted to walk 10 yards into our half before anyone even thought to try and close them down.

No we weren't 'played off the park' in the same sense that Bournemouth played us off the park. No they didn't create lots of clear cut chances. No they never turned our defenders in side out. But they still made us look fucking shit.

It speaks volumes for this forum when we can be accused of putting a positive spin on things by saying 'we were crap'

The 'positive spin' is the result. We won.

Frankly, we were shocking today. People wonder why Fenwick doesn't get in the team. He was absolutely dire. His first touch is terrible and his hold up play is worse at times. He looked like a Northern League striker today. As for Kudus, credit to the lad for his goal but there is no way on this earth he is a league standard footballer. If he plays next week then God help us. On the plus side I thought young Gray showed some good touches. Also, Carson is the best keeper in the division. His distribution is superb. I really fear for us in front of the Sky cameras next week

We were much, much worse than crap

We are a none league team in disguise, but we will be found out in May.

We were by no means good today but Cheltenham only managed 2 attempts on target so despite there quite frankly domination of possession they couldn't hit a barn door today. The amount of times we have had more possession and shots than teams but missed and been punished and everyone slates the us and says the better team won. yes today, the boot was on the other food, they had the majority of the ball, more shots on goal even though not many on target and we won and people still slate us.

I'm not saying I am happy with the performance or anything positive apart from we won and I'll take that. At the end of the game we couldn't keep possession at all and the level of nerves was ridiculous for playing against a none league team but with our current run of form that's where we are right now and we managed to see the game out and kept a clean sheet. No matter how we did it, we did and that's a mental barrier overcome so lets move on to next Sunday and go again.
