The Poolie Bunker

After looking at the league table and seeing how few goals we have managed to score in comparison to the rest of the fkin country I was starting to worry that we might have a problem with putting the ball in the net.

Imagine my relief upon logging on to the official site to see Michael Nelson assuring me that according to the law of averages it is only a matter of time before we start piling the goals in regardless of our lack of any talent in the final third of the pitch.

You mean like always carrying a bomb in your suitcase since it's unlikely there will be TWO people with bombs in their suitcases?

Perhaps the correct argument is that since we haven't been scoring for over 50 matches now we're unlikely to suddenly start.

If talking a good game won football matches, this pools team would have the league title sewn up by Christmas!

To be fair there seem to be lot fewer "Up for it" comments flying around this season.
