..............Bands/Albums that remind you of times past. Sort of a Desert Island Disc if you like.

Not bands that you have to be particularly fond of but ones that meant something to you for reasons either public of private.

Me.....................

Spyro Gyra - Morning Dance
Eart Wind & Fire - Let's Groove
Mezzoforte - Garden Party
Tears for Fears - Tears Roll Down
Japan - Gentleman take Polaroids
Martha and the Muffins - This is the ice Age
Van Morrison - Hymns to the Silence
ELO - Out of the Blue
Alphaville - Forever Young
Biily Joel - The Stranger
Chris de Burgh - Crusader

Fantastic albums one and all, though I am sure you know better

Oh yeah, it's not listenable now! But great in 1978. Mutters, I can remember buying that LP from Binns Record Department when it was next to Greggs Bakers who had a stall in Binns Store!

I had that album with me at Glastonbury one year, woke up around 7 o clock Sunday morning to a quiet campsite, the only sensible thing to do was turn the ghetto blaster up full & broadcast "Sunday Morning Nightmare".

10 albums, not necessarily my top 10,but all been great albums for me at some point.

Beck - Midnite Vultures
Cornershop - Handcream For A Generation
Leonard Cohen - Im Your Man
Dr Alimantado - Best Dressed Chicken In Town
Ian Brown - Unfinished Monkey Business
Iggy Pop - American Caesar
Alabama 3 - Exile On Coldharbour Lane
The Jam - Setting Sons
The Vapours - New Clear Days
Adam & The Ants - Dirk Wears White Sox
Blondie - Parrallell Lines
Max Romeo - war In A Babylon

Theres more but those 12 will do for now
