makes interesting reading from todays Gazette
Talks are at an advanced stage between Pools and their League Two rivals for the left-sided player, who spent a successful loan at Victoria Park.
Wilson is hoping he signs in time for Saturday's big home game against MK Dons, although James Brown was outstanding on the left with Pools' goal in a man-of-the- match display against the Shrews.
Wilson said: "I'm hoping it goes through - he gives us good balance down that left side, and talks are fairly advanced.
"I would be surprised if it wasn't done this week but if it isn't, it isn't.
"I'll leave it to the powers that be but we are just waiting to dot the is and cross the ts."
