The Poolie Bunker

...the Poolie who won the Match of the Day goal of the month competition tonight? Dave Gleeson, I think his name was. SOmeone else must've cheered like me when I saw it

Sorry Ginge, but I didn't. I was still on a high from our away win even though Conlon was in the starting X1

I'm still impressed that the team we played so awfully against - Rochdale - could even dream of beating you 5-0

Ginge me old mucker, you are only as good as your last result.

Rochdale at home in round 2 will do me nicely

Why would it? It's already been established that you get paggered by them on home soil

Oh ginge, I think you missed my subtle put down.

Anyway, that freak result would not be repeated, as i'm sure your home game with wrexham won't be

Our home game with Wrexham how long ago? I'm talking a month ago

And yes, I did understand that to play Rochdale they would have had to knock us out first. Which made it funnier as that's probably the last team you want

I do get jokes Sarf, I AM a Northerner after all

I agree

Oh har har

You let the mighty Lewes score against you and yet dream of Cup stardom??

How leaky is your defence?? I do believe a quality team like Worthing would have mullered you.

But good luck against Swansea and Lee Trundle.........

I was just relieved to bypass this banana skin. Thankfully i will be out of the country when the hoards of screaming welshies led by the fat chip eating barsteward Trudle visit. I'd bin this game for 3 points elsewhere.

Pretty much the way I felt at Rochdale. Nice to go and have an away day but it's points not cups I want.
