Got to think that the top choice(s) are either turning us down or struggling to agree terms considering it's what 6 weeks or so since the announcement that Fev wasn't the future was made?
To be fair, if we really are considering some of the rumoured names we'd have been as well keeping Fev with a decent assistant and Director of Football advising with a more expansive style of football.
Hope Bromby are not just finding jobs for their mates.

thats the problem when ex players are running the show. personally its getting to the point of anyone will do as long as they are able to bring good players to the club who will play decent football. no matter who manages us they,ll fo nothing with sub standard players.

It certainly feels like 6 weeks but in fact it's not quite a month yet. Still, it's starting to feel like another total news black-out.

Rob Law at Radio Tees is as well-informed as any HUFC commentator. This is his take on Twitter today:

"Really hope Landon Smith is being well informed & properly advised at Pools.

Fans have been crying out for hope & ambition - of proper decision making & a clear plan.

At present, if some of names linked to the job are to be believed, you’d have to question if that’s the case."

Rob Law is now saying basically the same as some of us are saying.

Sometimes, football fans are taken for granted.
If anyone wants to know what the fans think, it’s easy to find out, but sometimes the most important piece of the jigsaw, the fans, are bottom of the pile .

Owners and players come and go.
We’re here for life, we’re the fans y’know.
