Don't you mean selective short term memory loss.

During a recent discussions with my fellow ancient fogies the most used description of Starmer is nobody could remember any PM worse than him, when it came to digging heels in when the honourable thing would be to go. Johnson and Truss admitted their position was untenable, even May, but not two tier.
Then there is her from accounts. When she entered number 11 she stepped into two big bucket fulls of cement.
Jamie is like Nero, playing the fiddle while the country burns. I wonder when he returns to seaton will he plant his chair at the water's edge at low tide and ..........................well you know what comes next.

Derwent you remind me of the type of person watching a fight from the sidelines and when you see the opportunity run in and kick the person who is on the ground. That’s what your replies are, wait till Jamie is getting a kickin then join in the aftermath.

Just because you would behave like that don't tar others with the same brush. I don't participate in watching street brawling and if I did involve myself in passing it would be to try and stop it. One of these days you'll get something right but I won't hold my breath.

Lighten up Derwent it’s was a figures of speech ! Brawling is that a posh word for scrapping’.

Oh really, well it was a deliberate insinuation that upon seeing someone on the ground, I would run in and kick him. That is not a figure of speech, it is a deliberate attempt to paint me as someone capable of doing that sort of despicable, cowardly act. Not acceptable jamie, not acceptable. I am no saint and fairly thick skinned when it comes to banter but that remark is unnecessary. Any "kickin" that is directed towards you on here is generally invited by your comments and persistence in defending this present government which is ever increasingly being generally described by many as being the worst government in recent history and even beyond. The "kickins" you describe are brought upon you by yourself. What do you expect when you defend the indefensible.

Derwent I only get kickins’ on here because posters don’t agree with what I post, some need to live and let live, does it bother me, no.You follow some thing out of the ordinary like follow the stock markets and I get pilloried for it. My point is you wait till I get a few kickins’ then jump in with one of your opinions which tbh i take no notice of. Of course I do tend to be wary of my replies to you as you have an itchy finger and I could end up getting banned.
I defend the minority, the electorate are like sheep taken in by what they read and listen to on right wing MSM and forget their grass roots and where they come from, we are all working class !

So according to you, you are a minority …..but correct ….and everyone else is a bit thick because they don’t agree with you…..that’s what I call an ego…a misplaced ego of someone who can never accept being proved wrong…not even just the once.
Ever wondered why you are in a minority..because you take yourself so seriously that even humour goes over your head…ever cross your mind you could be wrong….. just once…?

I don't wait for anything from other people and I don't single you out, you single yourself out. As for me having an itchy finger, do me a favour. There used to be moderators on here who would have bounced you out of here after a week. I notice another one of your contradictions here. You don't take any notice of my posts but give due consideration when replying to them. Wriggle wriggle. You are regularly accused of contradicting yourself on here, of changing your tack, of wriggling like a worm on a hook or simply ignoring someone when all else fails. Adding those situations together they total 431 occasions. There's definiitely more but I gave up counting at 431.

Simple..because when someone asks you a question you don’t want to or can’t answer, you ignore it.

Pot and kettle springs to mind.
