A Russian destroyer has sailed down the Channel, with the tankers Starmer threatened to arrest…..a piss take by Putin calling Starmer’s bluff…..so we send out a ship to ‘escort’ it…the ship in question was a Supply vessel, a floating Tesco manned by the Royal Fleet Auxiliary and crewed by civilians.
Just about sums things up, meanwhile the ‘government’ are bragging about defending underwater cables as though it just happened, when it’s been going on for years….a poor bit of obvious deflection.

Yep, it'd be so easy to bring us to our knees in the event of an attack, disabled the gas pipeline from Norway, Electric from France, data cables to the rest of the world. Likely all done by autonomous sus surface drones. UK finished without a shot being fired.
No doubt a strongly worded letter has been sent by Starmer to Putin to prevent further incursions.

These boat crossings…if a party of people on holiday all piled on one of these type of boats for a laugh and tried to sail out to sea, they’d be stopped sharpish for risking their necks and probably taken to court.

My biggest concern is the Russians know where all the pipelines, power, telecommunications cables etc are, what’s to say they didn’t place any explosive devices on them, has a survey been done to check that ?

Jamie, the Russians have been scanning these for decades and this sudden announcement is merely a distraction to look as though they’re doing something which is due to all governments since 1990 cutting defence spending.
The new scam it appears with politicians is this faux outrage that everyone’s having a dig at the those serving in the Navy…no, it’s a kick up the arse at politicians who created the mess by not spending money on defence.
