He’s bumbling and useless beyond belief, but the replacement candidates are even worse.
It’s like being given the option of drowning or sinking in quick sand, an hideous dilemma…when Burnham was rejected, was it known about Mandy on a Mission….?

I’m no Starmer fan, far from it, but to think things will get better if he gets replaced, would to me be a mistake.

Surely Reeves is the one making the most cock ups. Making silly controversial tax changes without thinking them through only to U turn later. Making changes that are unfair and unpopular- the recent changes to student loans are the latest shit thing she’s done and I expect this to rumble on now until some kind of back down happens. She is not up to the job and needs replacing, and not because she’s a woman (she once said that was a reason why people criticised her) but because she’s making too many errors.

The best thing is if Starmer gives his head a wobble and realises that the people who voted for Labour this time round wanted a change, wanted more sensible government, wanted more fairness. They didn’t vote for incompetent decision making.

So Starmer needs to reboot, whether that’s possible or not is another matter.
