It’ll just encourage illegals to head to Spain…who can then move and live freely in the EU…good job were not in it.

difference is these are spanish speaking immigrants they are getting from south american christian countries unlike we get who are not english speakers and many being muslim on top. in theory it will not cause them the troubles we have.

Youth unemployment in Spain is about the highest in Europe, and the low paid have been up in arms about the big jump in rental prices for a while now..I know the EU must be well chuffed with Spain's leftie government,just as they've began realise it's all been a big mistake all along and started getting tougher.

Just under 40000 arrived from Africa last year, 17000 into the Canary Islands, I doubt many of them are Spanish speakers Accy.

so that bbc report was more lefty propaganda saying the vast amount were from honduras, peru and columbia that i replied to. governments can do and say whatever they like but its the native people of countries that have to suffer and pick up the pieces.

No idea Derwent, no European country has found a solution to the refugee problem, it’s not going to go away, not unless you revert to Trumps tactics of murdering people, do you support the antics of ICE, nothing is going to stop it. Any conflict with Iran is going to create a bigger issue, I refer back to Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and Libya and the African countries where is ongoing conflicts.

Why...read The Guardian and let the lot of them in and be kind. If bankrupts the country and causes civil unrest it will be purely because of racism.
