Phew…my son told me to guess who got the job…… and thankfully they finally got something right.

That's a great appointment. Feths is going into this with his eyes wide open knowing how difficult it is.

Finally a sensible appointment from our deranged owner, best of luck Nicky, I think you'll need it.

I like to think he’ll be there till at the very least, the end of the season.

Happy to see Feaths appointed - personally I would have waited until the Christmas games were over but he fully deserves the opportunity - as long as he has learnt something from last week in respect of the timing of substitutions. It would be typical of Pools if everything went tits up tomorrow but I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 win.

Pools are not the finished article but the main thing for me I see confidence returning , happy faces and some nice football at times . We are also hard to beat and have a good attitude . Further signs of improvement in front of goal . Keep moving forward and improving that’s all we want

Not convinced that Fev is ready yet, but at least we've now hopefully got continuity and imo we are definitely improving game on game although on paper we've had a relatively easy run of games. Tough month now and hopefully he can keep learning and improving along the way. A key factor now will be if he's allowed to strengthen in order to have a decent go at the play offs.
Effectively he's caretaker manager till the end of the season but surely a top 10 finish should be enough to extend his tenure in the summer and give him a chance to build his own squad for next season.

He appears to have the ability to get something out of players previous managers couldn’t, Campbell being a good example…the players look like they’re enjoying themselves and coming out of their anonymous shell.
To build a team, you need to build team spirit first, he seems to have ticke d that box, he may well surprise us all I hope.
The club need to step up and back him for a start.
Nowt’s guaranteed in life or football, but occasionally the unlikely candidate surprises us all.

100% he needs more backing. Feaths has had a bit of luck in recent weeks in not picking up any more injuries, but that won't last indefinitely.

Beyond the 3 who came on against Truro and the starting 11 Pools start scraping the barrel for experience and quality, and it sounds as if McNally, Oliver and Charman are all still weeks away from coming back.

Hopefully Pools will be able to extend Pharrel Brown's one month loan, but we'll need a couple more good signings to have a realistic chance of staying in contention.

Hope the lad does well, I hope he has good compensation package.

He now knows where he stands. He's been given the rest of the season but will he be given backing when it comes to any squad additions he may ask for or recommend. I hope so.
I wish the lad all the best of luck and I hope he continues to make a fist of it, He has started well and now has to maintain the level he has set and indeed improve on it but a lot of that will depend on the backing he is offered or not as the case may be.
He has the backing of the players which is a very important factor. Now the club have to step up to the mark and the stay away fans have to re rally and get behind him also.
We have a chance so let's not waste it.

The official site states quite clearly that the appointment is until the end of the season and the club have the option of extending it.

hope he does well enough to finish the season and starting the next, we need continuity from one season to the next and not a new face once the season ends. thats yet to work yet.

I wish him well and it is good we have some level of continuity but I agree he is not quite ready as is evidenced by the defensive line up against the worst team in the league (Truro) which almost lead to a defeat. Feaths learned nothing from this and played the same team against Yeovil which lead to the inevitable. Here's hoping the bitter taste of the loss will help him understand what went wrong.
