So the club has published it's ticketing plans for the FA Trophy game.

Supporters can purchase tickets in Blocks C-J of the Cyril Knowles Stand.

Additional areas of the stadium will be available should demand increase, with frequent monitoring of sales.

Now I understand there will be limited interest on the game as the opponents are a much lower level. So a restriction on ground availability was very likely after the Gainsborough FA Cup shambles. Being in the Mill House it was likely it wouldn't be opening as for hospitality reasons they need to open that. But having gone to the FA Cup game I decided if they told supporters they couldn't be bothered with them then it's best to stay away. So unless they change their mind or support is high and the Town End opens that is £12 they have lost. Not everyone wants to sit down, if I wanted to sit I could go and watch Premiership football.

Just hope the p[layers don't take the same lack of interest as they did against Gainsborough!

The club should make a big event of this game with heavily discounted tickets,kids,local groups,entertainment etc etc etc etc.

Pools have already announced the ticketing sales details similar to the FA Cup, Cyril Knowles stand only but could open more if there is a demand for tickets.

I always find it funny that these sort of matches should get a good turn out, especially with a trophy at the end….I can’t understand those who give it a miss because of their status…this isn’t the Premiership who appear in my eyes to look down their noses at everyone.

if they gave the impression of caring more fans would and turn up. i,m sure this lack of interest goes right into the dressing room and its been shown over the last few seasons since dropping to our current level in cup games. man for man we are a much better side than astley but we know they,ll give it all where we more likely be playing at 50%. even lower than that from those running the show at the top.

I plan to go. I doubt I will ever get the chance of seeing Anstey Nomads ever again. I'll wait until nearer kick off time in the forlorn hope they open up the town end (which I am sure they won't).

Well I missed the FA Cup game entirely due to the restrictions on my usual side of the ground, and I'll be missing this one too for the same reasons. Whoever comes up with this idea has no clue about the impact it has on fans of today and tomorrow. A better idea would've been to let kids in free try to sell more food and drinks and merchandise. A good win and atmosphere would have those kids wanting to come back.

the problem is that the people who make these decisions have never been a proper fan of a club standing on the terraces in all weathers. its just a job of work to them and reducing costs and maximising profits is what keeps them going. everyone has their favourite spot to watch games and its not the same being forced to sit or stand somewhere different.

Just can't how they think it's commercially the best option to discourage attendance.

Some spot on messages on here. As the fans are sickened it makes you think twice about whether to go along and then whether to bother with a season ticket and eventually a few people are sickened off each season. It then takes something good to happen to recover the interest.

The events of the Summer have created a lot of voids in the ground each Saturday and the cup actions will make others think twice especially over the winter.

Certainly an odd method to encourage support and interest.

Only hope for the club now is we get past Anstey and draw a York or Carlisle for a little away support.

The FANS will flood back once the inevitable happens, Which it will.

I have already told you we play York City in the final.

He say York or Carlisle derwent, so Carlisle it is then in the next round.

Carlisle is the only option from those two. York is nailed on for the final where they will be thrashed by us. I'll reveal the score forecast nearer the time.

Schoolboy stuff, 2 might spend more in the ground or come back again. But more to the point a regular who doesn't want to be coralled into the CK might serve more matches. Keep your customers happy is usually sound business sense.

think the idea of the customer being right and loyalty went out of the window for new customers only. pools problem is i doubt they are getting any of that type now apart from kids being dragged there by the parents until they are old enough to watch someone else.

They are using one of them there algorithms, Only a poundland one.
