So we will definitely be missing Francis on Saturday and more than likely Parkes too. Can we not get through a single game without one of our few decent players suffering a 'worrying' injury? I'm increasingly of the opinion that the club actually is cursed!

he is typical of the odd ball non league football scene. bradford park avenue had someone similar a few years back and they actually named there main stand after him. lower the gates clubs have the more these types stand out.

Now the team were either cramped inside cos they can’t afford a 52 seater or the kit man was in a bit of a hurry and they’re more affluent than they are letting on, we might be in for it tomorrow, unless they all have cramp from the journey and we shade it 1-0.

Or they knew not many fans would venture up to the Arctic Circle in November and one of the lads offered his 06 reg Transit as there were too many for his Fiat 500.

after just over 4 minutes i thought we were going to be in for a thriller but normal service has been resumed. yet again the ball into the box is crap from us.

All the arguments for three up, three down centred around the quality and competitiveness of this league. The top half of this league is better than the bottom half of league 2 says Mark Hughes. Two of the top half teams on show today and for ten minutes looked liked providing a bit of entertainment then came the borefest. I though Topolaj and Brown should have had more time and there must be a local lad better than Jay Benn who was absolutely dire today. The best I can say about Wealdstone is they are well organised especially at time wasting. As for us the best I can say is we probably have enough to stay in this league but not much more.
A rarity in our household these days is " well that was a good game and very enjoyable". It's in the drawer and doesn't look like being offered any time soon.

Tn his post match interview Fevs did briefly mention the next game and said if he was still in post so maybe an appointment is imminent. When Parkinson was sacked at Altringham Pools should have been straight in for him. If the truth be known NOBODY wants to work for Raj with his itchy trigger finger always ready. Just look at the way he responded when we were promoted. You would have thought there would have been plenty of companies or individuals ready to back the club but no one seems interested.

I see no reason why anything should change if we do get a new manager.
We end up expecting their early demise if they do not establish instant success on the pitch, if history is anything to go by.
I have little expectation of any appointees as you never expect them to be around for long enough ….. It’s depressing.

Very enjoyable game . I thought we played well against a good Wealdstone side . Think we play better playing the high press which we did at times . Reid gradually getting back in to his stride with a fantastic goal. Still think he was a bit too isolated though . Still think that the squad is too small to make the playoffs but no complaints about the effort and at times nice football . Wealdstone are a good team and we just about matched them

Don’t see the point in a new manager . Feathers should get the job but unless we get more loanees then it’s outside the playoffs tops

Yes i thought the game was enjoyable and maybe could have nicked it. Hope all the Mackem/Toon/Boror fans who attended will come back.

Both teams tried to play decent football although as ever the away team were masters of the art of time-wasting from them equalising and as ever the ref let it go, after one incident when they player had treatment they ignored him when he told them to get back on the pitch while they had drinks and a huddle with their coaching team, he told them 5 or 6 times when a card or two would have established his authority. Not sure if the disallowed goal was offside but the lino on the MH side got a number of offsides wrong for sure.
We should have brought Brown on earlier for Taylor who had a poor game (again) instead of Campbell who had a good game (again). Reid looks excellent with balls in behind the defenders to chase onto but struggles as a lone striker. We got into some great wide positions but the final balls were awful particularly from Benn who looks poorer by the game imo. We absolutely need to find a way to score more goals and turn draws into wins - 2 points further away from 7th spot as a result. But at least yesterday it didn't look like 2 bad sides slugging it out, we look like a decent team missing that cutting edge, I also thought we looked fitter yesterday than in some previous matches.

We improved in the second half but again the final ball was missing. thought overall we deserved a win but 4 points against sides in two games in a similar position to us is nothing to sniff about. somehow i just cannot see any new manager improving on where we are now. At least we are eventually getting a tune out of campbell which is one positive. the subs should have come on 10 minutes earlier to give them longer to make an impact. just get a feeling we,d have took the draw at the ko.
