The Poolie Bunker

...sang Elvis Costello's now trendy glasses. Today I received some sad news. My wife has tickets for Chelsea v norwich £12.50 for me lado + £25 for me versus Norwich Victoria Delia Delights XI. My lad supports Chelsea so its a 11.30 dash after his training on saturday morning to Stumped up bridge! The disadvantages of a southern based Poolie.

I was hoping to break a land speed record a leave at 11.30 for what may be a final football season at Plainmoor.

I will gave you a comparison to saturday's magical atmosphere at the Vic. I still have not stopped smiling at the Richie rocket. It was a fantastic occasion and a game that I will always recall because just how often do we really WIN important games - almost never! Well done everyone, but special mentions for Danny Wilson, whom we had question marks against on 1st November and Ben Clarke, immense on saturday, and for me Gary Liddle an inspeired signing who ran more than Sweens on saturday. Rumour has it in southern press that Arthur Daly wants Liddle and Sweens as they both have good motors in the engine room!

The bonus is me lado says he will come to the next 3 POOLIe games!

Now finally would you have the balls to recall Boland on saturday and say drop Eiffion on Browny or Sweeney, because I tell you this Boland will be no good as a sub. Personally, I would recall him and leave out Eiffion and move Browny up front. But what do I know I wanted Liddle to take the kick on saturday and predicted the D on the ASDA sign for Richie's strike!

I think Eiffo might finally score against Torquay, but as a sub!!!! Not a bad shout to put Sweens on the right wing, with Liddle and Bolland in the centre. What a fu-ck-ing team we've got eh?
