how is one individual supposed to 'live life in the mould of marxism' ?
that's nonsense, the whole idea of marxism / communism whatever is that is requires mass participation.
you can only live in the organisational structures of wheverever you are at the time. you can try your best to change it (some have) but the idea that marx is some sort of a hypocrite for 'not living life as a marxist' is ridiculous. everyone has to put food on the table and living a completely different political ethos to the rest of society is hardly going to help, is it.
