it was a tired performance from both teams. lots of sloppy football, and certainly not a classic. not sure how the authorities justify us having so many games in such a short space of time. it places a burden of expectaions on players and a financial burden on fans.
the main thing was that we got the points. from now on its one game a week pretty much through till december.
on a final note i havent been a big fan of boland up till now. he had a steady game today but i was very impressed by the way he squared up to their centre half who was twice his size after daly was flattened. his turn of foot to get there was impressive as was his refusal to back down.
We should have signed Julian Joachim..................
Shouldn't we?? :sweet: :sweet: :sweet:
