If Pools moved to Wynyard (no chance) would they still be playing in Hartlepool? Where does Hartlepool end and Stockton begin?

Haven't got an OS map to hand but I think almost all of the Wynyard area, including any likely development site, is outside the Hartlepool boundary.

Doesn't Hartlepool end at the A19 roundabout?

But when you come in to hartlepool on the A689 there is a 'Welcome to Hartlepool' sign just before you get to Newton Bewely

Hartlepool ends just this side of the boundary of Lang Dung.
