Lots of moaning today about Friday nights result (Ok most of it from Dibble I admit so that doesn't count

)

BUT

We have 7 (?) injured, Daly sent off, Robson injured, against a team that hadn't been beaten in 5 games

I wasn't there but listened on the Radio & we didn't sound to be doing that badly - apart from Brackstone on the left

& all the moaning about Wilson - he was manager of the month last month - hardly the sign of a crap manager

Cowboy · **Posted:** Mon Oct 23, 2006 10:50 pm

Ok I admit it was PP & Dibbs

Doesn't alter the fact some seem to expect miraculous results from a makeshift team of 10 men against a side in form playing at home, I thought a draw on Friday would be a reasonable result

the only gripe i had with wilson was the fact he blamed the ref for costing us the game

Point of order your honour.

He blames their player for bamboozling the ref. And if the appeal is upheld he will be vindicated, not undignified.

There have been a whole string of clowns in midfield so I can't answer you on that one.
But you can't say Wilson KEEPS picking Bullock when he has only made three league starts this season. That's just plain daft.

And while we're at it I could argue that he doesn't KEEP picking Brackstone either. He was picked, he did ok, so he remained in the team for a few games, and he kept playing well. There's no problem with that surely? There weren't many people calling for him to be dropped when, after back-to-back good away performances he had another solid game at home to Wrexham and played a part in all three goals.

Then we went to Lincoln, he had a nightmare, and he was promptly dropped to the bench for the next game v Stockport. And for the next league game at Chester he was on the bench again. Seriously, how much defensive cover do we have? As it happened he was called upon, and he had a stinker in unfortunate circumstances.

So basically, he played fine for a while then had one stinker and he hasn't started a league game since.

Brackstone HAD 1 BAD GAME(Lincoln) and was fooking hammered for it.

Other players have countless bad games and....

What exactly is said?......

Apparently, in Victorian times, people used to visit the asylums on a Sunday to be amused at the antics of the inmates ...... I feel they could recreate the same feeling by visiting this board..

What are you saying, like?

Wibble, wibble.

I'd class you as more of a warder, guiding the inmates ......... I like the 'wibble wibble' empathy bit...

On past form, I think it will be safe to assume he had them shoved up somewhere..... the nose however does not immediately spring to mind.

I spent an hour at work yesterday with a pencil shoved up my nose. They didnt send me home. :uhoh:

That's because you were home ...... and anyway, such behaviour is 'normal' in the asylum, it's in your job spec if you care to read it.
